Job Id:   ** MCD - 0030 Job Title:   Sr. Project Manager - CAPEX Location:  Houston, Texas Resource Manager:  Marc Morrow Description: Senior Project Manager - CAPEX Job Description * · Reports to Director E&M and VP Offshore Resources. · Responsible for defining and management of all phases of CAPEX projects that are $10 million to $100 million in capital expenditure. · Support the business case for development of the CAPEX on the asset. · Complete ACE documents to present to stakeholders. · Has bottom-line accountability for the financial and technical success of the project or area of project responsibility. · Leads Project and/or Functional Managers to achieve project objectives. · Develops a style that motivates others toward common goals. · Respected as a leader internally by multiple functions. · Ensures preparation of Project Execution Plan (PEP), Project Scope of Work, Project Setup, Project Closeout and Change Orders. · Reviews and approves project expenditures, budgets, estimates, cost reports, project financial forecasts and schedules. · Ensures clear and open communication with project team members and between project team & functional groups, changes in scope of work and schedule are captured in the Change Management System (DTMS) and the implementation of Lessons Learned. · Focal point for primary stakeholders. · Project focal point for functional group leaders. · Manages project managers, project team (including staffing from functional groups), internal stakeholder relationships, external vendors, and the staffing of project team with competent persons from functional groups. · Manages cost, schedule, safety, quality and contractual requirements of the CAPEX project through effective plan in accordance with company procedures. · Applies advanced understanding of company’s business to improve project cost effectiveness, apply change, risk and opportunity management principles, and improve project margin. · Role models ABC Corp's values and acts with integrity. · Meets commitments and adheres to the Code of Business Conduct and ethical behavior, procedures and rules/regulations. · Creates a clear line of sight between ABC Corp’s vision, the business unit’s objectives, and team members’ individual goals. · Demonstrates values in line with company’s values. · Understands and promotes ABC corp’s Vision, Mission and Values. · Understands and promotes ABC Corp’s HSES Standards. Job Requirements * Education: · Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Ocean, Naval, Architecture, etc) or Construction Management. · MBA degree a plus. Experience: · Minimum 15 years of experience in an Engineering or Construction environment. · Minimum 5 years experience in a Project Leadership role. · Experience in Oil and Gas Industry is a plus. · Experience in the shipbuilding industry is required. · Must have experience in heavy industry equipment builds. Qualifications: · Advanced knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents and plans.
