Job Title Sr IT Procurement Specialist Job Description The Senior IT Procurement Specialist is responsible for the strategic sourcing, negotiation, contracting and supplier management for the IT Capabilities portfolio. This position will work closely with IT regarding the application and integration of procurement philosophies and techniques to meet the needs of internal customer requirements from a sourcing and contracts perspective. This position will provide contract life cycle management for IT commodities which includes research of potential vendors, development of Request for Proposals, and the negotiation of terms and conditions that protects the company from risk and achieves best in class terms. This role will be responsible for identifying new areas for procurement influence as well as maintain and grow existing relationships. This position will give you the opportunity to work in a dynamic work environment, where you will build strong relationships and visibility with IT leaders. Roles and responsibilities: •Lead commercial terms negotiations and administering of IT Master Services Agreements, Software License Agreements, and Statements of Work. •Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions. •Develop and maintain expertise in the category being managed by analyzing trends and dynamics of the current market. •Develop expertise in the use of an eSourcing, contract management, and other related tools. •Manage sourcing and RFx process for IT and Corporate initiatives. •Oversee software asset management and support compliance. •Perform software audits to ensure compliance with various software providers. •Develop cost savings initiatives for IT commodities. •Perform financial analysis and initiate cost savings initiatives for IT commodities. •Maintain software and services renewal database. •May lead in the development of less experienced Procurement Specialists. Travel Job Type Regular Date Required Job Requirements Skills and Qualifications •Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Technology or similar area. •5+ years of purchasing experience with IT hardware, software including cloud based solutions, Software as a Service, telecommunications and professional services. •Experience in creating and implementing procurement policies and procedures. •Experience with RFP/RFIs using eSourcing tools. •Ability to perform cost analysis as well as analyze data. •Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. •Experience using Microsoft SharePoint. •Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. •Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills. •Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal. •Demonstrates sound decision making abilities / focuses on the big picture / thinks strategically •Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others. •Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, inside and outside of the organization. •CPM or CPSM Certification preferred. |
