This content is protected under U.S. and international laws and unauthorized use may violate these laws. Any adaptation, sale, modification, or public use of the Website Content is prohibited. This includes the HTML code that CareersCatalog uses to generate the Website Content.

Service Utilization by leveraging our Services, you acknowledge that we do not hold control over the authenticity, accuracy, comprehensiveness, truthfulness, or legality of the content provided by third parties. If you are under the age of eighteen (18) or the age of majority, and are permitted to work in the jurisdiction where you reside, you assert that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to this Agreement on your behalf. You are not allowed to use our Services if your use has been previously suspended or terminated by CareersCatalog, unless we have given you specific written authorization to re-use our Services.

By leveraging our Services, you affirm, agree, and request that this document, and all documents utilized or signed between CareersCatalog and yourself, be expressed solely in the English language.

Telephone or SMS Contact: When using specific Services, we might request your consent to contact you via telephone, including SMS. By giving such consent, you authorize CareersCatalog to contact you via telephone at the number(s) you've provided, and you acknowledge that CareersCatalog may do so using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice (as permitted by the laws of the jurisdiction where you reside). You agree that we may, but are not obligated to, monitor or record any of your telephone conversations with us for quality control purposes, for training our employees and for our own protection. You acknowledge that not all telephone lines or calls are recorded by us and that we do not guarantee that recordings of any particular telephone calls will be retained or are capable of being retrieved.

Email Contact: Through the provision of your electronic mail address to CareersCatalog, you are granting consent for us to utilize this electronic mail address to transmit communications related to our Service and other non-commercial notifications, including any legally required notices, as a substitute for postal mail communication. We may also deploy your electronic mail address to disseminate additional messages, such as amendments to Service features and special offers (insofar as permissible by the jurisdictional law where you reside). If you have given consent to receive electronic mail job alerts or promotional communications from us, we will continue to send these communications until such time as you opt out. Please be advised that the act of opting out may inhibit you from receiving electronic mail messages concerning updates, enhancements, or offers.

Please be aware that while you possess the ability to opt out of promotional messages and electronic mail job alerts, you are unable to opt out of service-related communications, including those in relation to security, legal notices, your account, your usage of our Services, billing, and other transactional purposes unless you choose to deactivate your account and cease usage of our Services.

You acknowledge that CareersCatalog offers no guarantees, promises, or warranties pertaining to third-party content, including but not limited to messages, Job Advertisements, and resumes. CareersCatalog merely acts as a conduit for User Content dissemination and assumes no duty to verify the accuracy, legality, or completeness of such content. Therefore, CareersCatalog bears no responsibility or liability for User Content. You are aware that exposure to potentially inaccurate, misleading, illegal, offensive, or inappropriate User Content is possible and the verification of User Content quality, truthfulness, and legality is your responsibility. Any reliance on User Content is at your own risk.

Despite the above, CareersCatalog, while not obligated to scrutinize User Content, retains the right to refuse, remove, or suspend User Content and associated User Accounts that contravene this Agreement, any additional agreement with CareersCatalog, any applicable laws or regulations, infringe upon third-party rights, or otherwise pose potential liability or harm to CareersCatalog.

Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk Concerning User Interactions

The User, herein referred to as "You," acknowledges and concurs that CareersCatalog is neither equipped nor obligated to verify the identity or credibility of each User. CareersCatalog's scope of responsibility does not encompass the authentication of Users. Consequently, it falls within your purview to carry out due diligence prior to initiating communication or interaction with any other Users, including but not limited to job applicants, employers, employment agencies, and recruitment consultants.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with interactions with any User you encounter on the platform. In the event of any dispute or issue with any User, you agree to directly seek redress with the respective User.

By accepting these terms, you hereby discharge and hold harmless CareersCatalog, its subsidiaries, and their respective employees, directors, and agents from all claims, demands, and damages of any kind, including actual, consequential, direct, and indirect damages, whether known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, revealed or concealed, to the greatest extent permissible by law.

Disclosure of User Content and Related Information

CareersCatalog retains the discretionary authority to reveal User Content and any pertinent information regarding the provider of such User Content to third parties. This is in the context of the operation and provision of our Services, to enforce the conditions of any agreement that we have established with you, to fulfill legal obligations, and to respond to requests from governmental authorities, law enforcement agencies, judicial orders, subpoenas, or equivalent legal processes.

Further, in order to safeguard the interests of CareersCatalog as deemed necessary, we may disclose such information. To remove any ambiguity, by accepting these terms, you concur that we possess the authority to disclose your identity to a third party who alleges that any User Content you posted, provided, or uploaded is fraudulent, false, or misleading, or constitutes a violation of the law, or an infringement of their intellectual property or ownership rights, or an invasion of their right to privacy.

User Content License Grant

By making User Content available, you grant CareersCatalog a non-exclusive, transferable, worldwide license, free of royalty, which is sublicensable, perpetual, and can be used for the reproduction, adaptation, display, performance, sale, translation, and creation of derivative works from such User Content. This license is effective even after you cease to use the Services and includes the right to distribute your User Content on the CareersCatalog network, job alerts, and promotional materials.

If you are a Client, you accept that CareersCatalog may not be able to remove your content, including Job Advertisements, logos, and/or trademarks, once they have been distributed or listed in search results, included in alerts, or in fixed media displays. In these instances, the license you granted will be perpetual and irrevocable.

The license also permits CareersCatalog to use your trademarks, trade names, service marks, or service names in promotional materials to identify you as a User of the Services. Moreover, if you authorize CareersCatalog to access User Content on another website or service you control, you permit CareersCatalog to scrape such website for said User Content, irrespective of any scraping prohibitions.

When you authorize CareersCatalog to send automated invitations or User Content to candidates on your behalf, you grant CareersCatalog a license to use your name, likeness, and CareersCatalog information in such communications.

You affirm that you possess the necessary rights and authority to grant these rights to your User Content, that its use by CareersCatalog will not violate any laws or infringe on any third party's rights, and that all the information you provide is legal, complete, and accurate.

Terms Applicable to Job Seekers

As a Job Seeker, the Services empower you to

  • (i) explore job opportunities,
  • (ii) submit job applications,
  • (iii) receive job alerts,
  • (iv) upload your resume into a database, and
  • (v) participate in video calls or interviews with Clients. In this Agreement, "resume" or "CV" also refers to profiles, references, and similar overviews of an individual's qualifications.

By creating a CareersCatalog account, providing your resume, or subscribing to Job Alerts, you consent to our use of your information for sending job-related communications and for displaying your resume and profile details (unless marked as private) to potential employers. If you permit us to share your resume and additional information with potential employers, recruiters, or staffing agencies, you thereby grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license (with sub-licensing rights) over any rights, including intellectual property rights, in your resume and any other information you provide. This license allows us to share and use your resume and additional information as needed to provide our services.

General Job Applications

Upon applying to a Job Advertisement via the Services, you authorize us to store and share your information, inclusive of your resume/CV, with the job advertiser.

The method of submission for your Job Application is at your discretion, including via third-party accounts such as Facebook or LinkedIn. In such cases, your profile, resume, and other information from these accounts will be shared with the job advertiser.

Submission of a Job Application entails sharing your resume and other pertinent information with the job advertiser. Ensure all provided information is accurate and appropriate for sharing.

CareersCatalog cannot guarantee that job advertisers will receive, view, respond to, or act error-free regarding your applications or messages. Any screener questions are controlled by the job advertiser.

Applying to Job Advertisements on CareersCatalog

When applying via a CareersCatalog website, provided that selected parameters are met, your associated resume will be sent. If logged out of your account, either manually or automatically, we will send a verification email to confirm your identity before sending your resume.

NOTE: It is your responsibility to keep your resume updated and accurate. To edit or upload a new resume, visit your account's Profile settings. Despite requesting confidentiality from companies, CareersCatalog cannot guarantee that your information will remain confidential or secure. Account Creation

A CareersCatalog account will automatically be created in the following circumstances if you don’t already have one:

  • (a) When you sign up for job alerts;
  • (b) When you apply to a job on a CareersCatalog website.

Upon account creation, you will receive an email containing your username and a link to confirm your email or set/reset your password. The account will be associated with your email address and the resume linked to the action you took. Please ensure your resume is up-to-date before applying to a Job Advertisement.

If you do not want a CareersCatalog account, please contact support@careerscatalog.com or delete your account from your account settings.

Job Alerts

You may opt to receive job alerts via email or SMS. Upon application to Job Advertisements on a CareersCatalog website or account creation, you may consent to receive job alerts relevant to your chosen role. SMS job alerts can be subscribed to by providing your phone number in the Mobile Alerts section of your User Account. Job alert preferences can be adjusted via the Job Alerts tab in your User Account. You can unsubscribe from job alerts by following the instructions in the alert email or SMS.

Resume Database

CareersCatalog offers a Resume Database feature allowing job seekers to store their resume/CV and profile data on the Service. If you choose to set your resume/CV as 'public', it will be integrated into the Resume Database, making your resume/CV and profile data, including personal information, searchable, viewable, and downloadable by parties granted access to the Database. Furthermore, your resume/CV will be partially visible to Clients with active job advertisements for candidate invitation or rating.

Inclusion of your resume/CV implies your consent for CareersCatalog to match elements of your resume or application materials with those in a Job Advertisement or a recruiter's search, thereby presenting matching resumes to relevant employers or recruiters and sending you information about potential job opportunities.

Your decision to make your resume/CV private prevents it from being added to the Database. You can toggle this setting at any time, though any information previously accessed and saved by an entity will remain accessible to that entity.

Interactions, Confidentiality, and Due Diligence

You bear sole responsibility for interactions with other Users. Interacting with unknown individuals, who may misrepresent themselves, entails risks, including potential physical harm. Therefore, only disclose contact information on your User Profile, Job Application, or resume/CV that you're comfortable sharing with Clients and other Users.

It's essential to conduct your own due diligence on potential employers and Job Advertisements. As stated earlier, CareersCatalog does not verify Users or guarantee the legitimacy of a Job Advertisement.

This Website serves as a platform for employers to post job vacancies and for candidates to post resumes, without screening or censoring. The CareersCatalog does not participate in transactions between employers and candidates, thus we exert no control over the quality, safety, or legality of jobs or resumes, or the truthfulness of listings.

Given the inherent risks of online interactions, including dealing with individuals who may misrepresent themselves, all risks associated with interactions through the Website are assumed by the user. This applies irrespective of whether the damages are based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether CareersCatalog is advised of the possibility of such damages.

Limitation of Liability, Termination, Indemnity, and General Terms

CareersCatalog's maximum liability, regardless of the cause of action (contract, tort, breach of warranty, or otherwise), shall not exceed $100. CareersCatalog reserves the right to take all legal remedies, including deletion of your posts and termination of your registration or access to our services, upon any breach of these terms or if we cannot verify your submitted information.
