Job Id:   ** MCD - 0050 Job Title:   Project Manager - EPC Fabrication Location:  Houston, Texas Resource Manager:  Marc Morrow Description: Job Title Project Manager Job Description · Reports to Senior Director Project Operations. · Accountable for management of all phases of a project whether it be Fabrication only, full EPIC or part of a larger project. · Accountable for project performance in Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, Planning, Cost and overall execution. · Manages project personnel to achieve project objectives. · Has bottom-line accountability for the financial and technical success of the project or area of project responsibility. · Shall at times either lead and/or participate in bid proposals · Promotes a culture of teamwork, collaboration and success. Learns from other leaders. · Ensures compliance to the requirement of the ABC Corp Operating Model and procedures, and in particular, development of Project Execution Plan (PEP), Project Scope of Work, Project Setup, Project Plan Project Closeout and Change Orders. · Reviews and approves project expenditures, budgets, estimates, cost reports, project financial forecasts and schedules. · Ensures clear and open communication with project team members and between project team and functional groups. · Accountable for ensuring the Project team identifies and tracks changes in scope of work no matter how large or small. All change is to be logged / captured in the Change Management System (DTMS). Strict compliance to the Management of Change procedures is required. · Manages the project team, internal and external customer relationships, and staffing of project team with competent persons from the functional groups. · Applies basic understanding of company’s business to improve project cost effectiveness, apply change management principles and improve project margin. · Demonstrates leadership in promoting of company’s values and Ethics and Compliance requirements · Accountable for providing accurate and timely project reports and progress metrics in accordance with Company and Client requirements. Travel Up to 25% Job Type Regular Job Requirements Education: · Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant Engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Ocean, Naval, Architecture, etc) or Construction Management Experience: · Minimum 8 years of experience in an Engineering or Construction environment · Minimum 3 years experience in a Project Leadership role · Experience in the Oil, Gas and Offshore marine environment is preferable. Qualifications: · Advanced knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents and plans. · Relevant industry experience in nominated project scope ie.
