Job Id:   ** TOR-008 Job Title:   Midstream Operations Analyst Location:  Houston, Texas Resource Manager:  Gilbert Forcade Description: Job Description Position/Title: Midstream Operations Analyst Position Summary: The Midstream Operations Analyst will work with the Project team to provide assistance in operational support, and managing and monitoring project cost and controls for ABC Midstream Services. Responsibilities/Duties: Gas Control • Access and analyze gas measurement data in Total Flow, produce reports regularly and ad hoc. • Keep track of gas analyses; ensure accuracy of data in meter. • Watch for anomalies, missing data, work with operations to resolve. • End of Month Reports, ensure accuracy and provide data to management and accounting. • Liaise with operations and accounting to ensure all parties are informed as to gas flow. • Distribute monthly meter volume reports to producers. Monitor Gas Gathering System Balances • Capture daily volumes and update system balance spreadsheets. • Analyze data, identify issues and work with operations to resolve. • Create reports for daily, weekly, and monthly distribution internally and to customers. Nominating and Scheduling • Monitor current volumes at gas sales nominations locations, activity forecast. • Estimate first of month nominations for sales. • Provide nominations to third party shippers. • Make nominations on Electronic Bulletin Boards. • Monitor daily gas flow, calculate and implement nomination changes. Project Management Duties: • Monitor actual versus budgeted project costs. Provide senior operations personnel, Treasurer and CFO with updates on actual versus AFE/budget costs, notify management of projected cost overruns and prepare supplemental AFEs, and provide estimated timing for future project costs. • Work closely with project vendors, including reviewing all invoices related to AFE projects. Specific Knowledge & Skills: • Strong administrative, organizational and prioritization skills. • Ability and willingness to manage lots of detail. • Good communication skills – both oral and written. • Capable of working with minimal supervision Education/Experience: • A high school diploma or GED is required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. • Experience working in project management • Experience in the oil and gas pipeline industry • Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, or a willingness to develop them
