Reports to VP/GM of Projects. Responsible for pursuit, capture and direction of all phases of the largest and most complex projects. Manages multiple customer relationships on projects with multiple partners. Leads projects and Project and Functional Managers to achieve project objectives. Has bottom-line accountability for the financial and technical success of the project or program. Develops and maintains a positive relationship with customers that leads to future work across regions. Mentors and coaches future leaders. Respected as a leader externally by multiple clients. Delivers solutions to complex project problems using perspectives and resources from within and outside the project team. Reviews and approves Project Execution Plan (PEP), Project Scope of Work, Project Setup, Project Closeout, Change Orders, Project Expenditures, budgets, estimates, cost reports, project financial forecasts and schedules across multiple projects. Ensures clear and open communication with project team members and between project team and functional groups. Manages Project Directors or Sr. Project Managers across multiple projects. Applies advanced understanding of company’s business to improve project cost effectiveness, apply change, risk and opportunity management principles, and improve project margin across projects. Demonstrates values in line with company values. Understands and promotes ABC’s Vision, Mission and Values. Understands and promotes ABC’s HSES Standards. Education: Bachelor’s or Diploma in a relevant Engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Ocean, Naval, Architecture, etc) or Construction Management MBA degree a plus Certification from a Professional Project Management organization a plus Experience: Minimum 24 years of experience in an Engineering or Construction environment Minimum 17 years experience in a Project Leadership role Experience as a Project Leader in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry is a plus Qualifications: Advanced and proven knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents and plans.
