Job Id:   ** MCD - 0062 Job Title:   Sr. Accountant - SEC Location:  Houston, Texas Resource Manager:  Marc Morrow Description: Job Description: Assisting in the preparation of SEC filings including but not limited to 10-K, 10-Q and other documents as necessary Close collaboration with auditors Work with operating units on obtaining additional information to support consolidated numbers Help in implementation of new accounting literature and SEC rules, analyze impact of new guidance on the company and updating the company's uniform accounting principles Work on ad-hoc reports for management and other internal Requirements: CPA required 3-5 years SEC reporting experience with a public company or audit firm Computer skills: good working knowledge of Excel and Word; familiarity with XBRL a plus Good communication skills (written and spoken) Education: Degree in Finance / Business
