Job Title Project Procurement Manager Job Description Responsible for the effective execution of procurement activities for the entire purchase-to-pay cycle within a Project or Projects as defined by the Project Procurement Plan along with the day-to-day management of Project personnel. Develops and Implements Project procurement strategies and activities to mitigate risk, which are in alignment with Project objectives i.e., budget, schedule, quality, cost, etc. while providing management direction to Project procurement personnel in the development and execution of the master project supplier list, invitation to bids to selected suppliers, negotiation, Purchase Order award, expediting, logistics, Purchase Order close-out of engineered, tagged or critical equipment and services. Serves as the primary point-of-contact to the Project Manager for all procurement activities within the Project. Travel Up to 50% Job Type Regular Date Required Job Requirements This position requires being bilingual in Spanish, up to 50% travel to Mexico At least 10 - 15 years of supervision or management of a Purchasing organization leading the procurement of materials and equipment within the Energy, Oil and Gas or related industry, while utilizing an integrated ERP system. Intermediate to advanced skill level of procurement law, contract development, terms and conditions, negotiation strategy and execution with internal customer alignment, etc. Strong functional knowledge of eProcurement and ERP tools, including the ability to generate Excel spreadsheets with supporting analysis. Intermediate to advanced level of negotiation skills with the ability to lead a purchase order negotiation no supervision. College degree (Bachelor of Arts or Science) required or related experience. At least 10 - 15 years of supervision or management of a Purchasing organization leading the procurement of materials and equipment within the Energy, Oil and Gas or related industry, while utilizing an integrated ERP system. |
