Design of various electrical system including emergency generator systems
Construction assistance including shop drawing review, contractor relations, and site surveys
Lead and participate in meetings clients, state agencies, city agencies, utility service representatives and project teams.
Deliver projects on time and within client budgets
Deliver projects in compliance with client and company quality control procedures and engineering guidelines
Participate on project teams in an active production role
Preparation of project specifications
Preparation of electrical construction cost estimates
Daily interaction and collaboration on cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines
Coordination and verification of as-built drawings
Perform quality work that promotes client retention
Responsible for the development of reports and design documents, including floor plans, schematic diagrams, load calculations, Comcheck calculations, controls, details and specifications for the project.
Education | Experience:
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Licensed Electrical Professional Engineer in , multi- state licensure a plus
LEED Certification
10+ years experience in electrical engineering consulting including experience with clients and management.
A thorough understanding of electrical building codes and construction standards.
Understanding of electrical and lighting controls
Computer proficiency in applications within MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, and Energy Modeling
Excellent writing and oral communication skills required.
Ability to understand and communicate complex problems and to collaborate with others to explore alternative solutions
