About the Role
We are seeking a Project Architect with 8+ years of professional experience to lead projects from concept through construction. This role requires demonstrated technical expertise, team leadership, and client-facing experience. Candidates must be registered or actively pursuing licensure and local to New Haven, CT (in-office at least three days per week) or Philadelphia, PA.
What You’ll Do
Manage all phases of design and documentation for projects of varying scale and complexity
Supervise and mentor teams; review and approve work of staff, consultants, and contractors
Provide final review of code analysis, material selections, and specifications
Oversee construction document production and management of BIM models
Lead coordination with project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure design and technical excellence
Implement best practices for quality documentation and risk mitigation
Champion design excellence while balancing efficiency and feasibility
