Mechanical Engineer

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (Local candidates preferred; Houston and Austin offices also available)
Compensation: $120,000 – $170,000 (Senior-level, based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing engineering team and play a key role in delivering some of the largest MEP projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role is ideal for a professional with strong design skills, leadership experience, and proficiency in Revit who is looking to grow within a collaborative and supportive firm.

The position involves leading projects from concept through completion, mentoring junior engineers, coordinating with clients and team members, and ensuring quality control while staying current with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and execute mechanical engineering projects across all phases.

  • Mentor and support junior engineers and design staff.

  • Coordinate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

  • Perform quality control reviews of drawings and specifications.

  • Stay up to date with industry standards, codes, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with project managers on schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.

  • 6+ years of experience in mechanical design (senior-level roles available).

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred for senior-level candidates.

  • Proficiency in Revit required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Bluebeam required.

  • Plumbing design experience preferred (senior-level).

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $120,000 – $170,000 (based on experience).

Work Schedule
