Our client is an independent accounting firm with multiple locations across the country providing audit, tax, risk, and forensic advisory services for entrepreneurial, public, non-profit, and individual clients.
Responsibilities:
Analyze client documents; extract and summarize relevant information
Review and verify source documents
Search for origins of entries and unrecorded transactions
Assist with creating/modifying presentations, write industry articles, and attend business development calls
Actively work to identify and minimize risk on projects and proposals
Draft letters, documents requests, and reports for review
Provide timely and consistent updates to supervisors on the progress of work assignments
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
3-4 years of related experience in public accounting
CPA preferred
Knowledge of accounting theory, auditing theory/procedures, insurance theory/language, or valuation theory/practice
