Job Description

Summary 
The Night Auditor will perform daily audit functions according to the daily audit checklist and complete tasks in a timely manner. The Night Auditor will act as Front Desk, Concierge and PBX during the overnight hours. Shifts will be 11pm-7am.

Essential Job Functions
•   Act as Front Desk Receptionist, Concierge and PBX Operator during this shift 
•   Assist with guest requests and any guest concerns or issues 
•   Run Night Audit Daily Processing to roll hotel date 
•   Notate and follow up on Wake Up Calls from the wake up call sheet 
•   Roll all Expected Arrivals and No shows to next day 
•   Post overnight parking charges 
•   Perform check in and check out duties 
•   Wash and polish champagne glasses from the champagne welcome program. 
•   Compile and distribute House Reports, including arrivals, departure and in-house report 
•   Sort and file daily receipts for all restaurant outlets 
•   Act responsibly and in accordance with policies and procedures in the event of an emergency 
•   Make management aware of guest’s comments and complaints 
•   Report to work on time, and in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the employee handbook 
•   Comply with all policies and procedures for the Front Desk department, The Little Nell, and Aspen One  
•   Is familiar with hotel fire and safety procedures. Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management 
•   Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand 
•   Answer incoming internal and external phone calls, as well as additional PBX (phone operator) duties as needed

Qualifications


•   Knowledge of Hotel Front Desk Responsibilities
•   Desire to work nights
•   Be a self-starter and be able to work without supervision
•   Excellent customer service experience
 

Additional Information

Supervision Given and Received  
Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.  
Received: Works under direct supervision of the Front Office Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available. 

Work Environment and Physical Demands  
•    Ability to stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time. Kneeling and bending may be required 
•    Regularly work indoors with no adverse conditions. Some positions require exposure to outdoor elements or a combination of both indoors and outdoors and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces   
•    Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
