As a member of the Biosciences Commercial Finance team, this Senior Financial analyst plays a key role in driving forward the growth and profitability of the business. This Senior Financial Analyst role will be a key partner in providing financial support including forecasting, revenue analytics, and reporting for the North America Commercial Teams. This includes trend analysis, detailed risk and opportunity insight and KPI management, monthly reporting and bi-weekly forecasting, as well as market analytics. This position will work closely with finance and Commercial leadership to support and enhance key customer reporting requirements as well as partner with the team to help achieve financial commitments. The role is based in Carlsbad, CA
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the revenue forecasting and consolidation process for the North America East Region Commercial Team
Provide insightful analysis on sales trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to support strategic planning and business development efforts.
Partner closely with business leaders to identify risks and opportunities to ensure top line commitments are met
Lead monthly OPEX reporting and forecasting which includes Selling, G&A, and Marketing activities
Support the annual planning process for the Commercial Operating expenses
Drive a continuous improvement approach with a focus on automation, enhancing processes, and elevating business partner support where applicable
Support Ad-hoc internal, Group, and Corporate requests as needed
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required (MBA, CMA, or CPA preferred but not required)
Full comprehension of financial statements and how to use them to analyze a business
Self-reliant, problem solver with a natural bias towards continuous operational improvement
Extremely detail oriented and organized
Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience with Hyperion Planning, Smartview or similar systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Successfully led multiple cross functional finance projects
Proven track record of working with a diverse group of individuals
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with senior management
Demonstrated experience in a complex, multinational, heavily matrixed organization
Embraces challenges in a continuously evolving environment

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
