Job Description
We are seeking a Digital Design Engineer for a direct hire/permanent role in Germantown, MD. This role will work onsite/in the office Monday- Friday during normal business hours (there are no remote options).
In this role, you will:
Develop innovative Consumer, Enterprise, and Aeronautical hardware solutions for satellite-based communications systems in the areas of analog and digital circuit design
Participate in a multi-functional engineering team environment to develop and integrate hardware, software, and network technology for networking and communications products and systems
Analyze customer needs and establish product objectives, specifications, and technical solutions to ensure products satisfy customer requirements and deliverables
Contribute to all aspects of the product life cycle (concept, development, integration, qualification, acceptance, delivery, and maintenance)
Work effectively across multiple corporate functions including business groups, Engineering, manufacturing, and field support
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
6+ years of experience in Digital/Analog circuit design
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Knowledge of System Integrity & Power Integrity analysis
Experience working in a communications industry
Experience qualifying products with high-speed interfaces
