Description

Surgical Technologist
Part Time - 8 hours biweekly
inpatient operating room
rotating shifts

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs in a team relationship for designated care of the intra-operative patient.  Maintains and demonstrates competencies in clinical practice to include age specific competencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education - High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program required.

Experience - Clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.  Previous experience as a surgical technologist preferred.

Licensure/Certification - Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Demonstrates knowledge and practice of basic patient-care concepts. Demonstrates basic surgical case preparation skills.
