Luxus Build Group's Healthcare Studio Architecture team has an opening for a creative and innovative Entry / Mid Level Architectural Designer.

Luxus Build operates within a hybrid work model, supporting flexibility between office time and work from home.

Location: Charlotte, NC

Position Summary:

As an Architectural Project Designer at DLR Group you will be responsible for project document development and coordinating with all project team members to maintain the quality of the work product within the established project schedule for Small and large complex projects. As part of our integrated design teams you create buildings that elevate the human experience through design.

You will be responsible for managing, with assistance from Project Manager or more senior Project Architect, all aspects of the project document development and coordinating with all project team members to produce quality work product while adhering to project schedules.

The successful candidate will:

  • Identify and proposes technical solutions to design challenges.
  • Provide technical feedback in the conceptual development of project documents.
  • Produce accurate documents aligned with firm standards for project assignments.
  • Apply practice standards to project assignments.
  • Communicate to Project Manager progress of assignments according to the established project schedule and workplan.
  • Ensure project information is incorporated into project documents.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 1-5 years previous experience.
  • A basic understanding of technical knowledge in architectural drafting and design.
  • Be proficient in the use of Revit computer modeling and rendering software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in Healthcare Design
  • Licensed or On track for professional licensure.
  • Professional Bachelor’s Degree or Master of Architecture Degree
  • Professional License or in the process of obtaining licensure
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, and/or V-Ray
  • The ability to travel occasionally to support national and/or regional project tasks
