The Finance Department at the Michael G. Foster School of Business, University of Washington, is recruiting to hire one full-time faculty member at an open-rank (as either a tenure-eligible Assistant Professor, as a tenured Associate Professor, or as a tenured Professor) for the 2023-2024 academic year, with an anticipated start date between July 1, 2024, and September 16, 2024. Tenure-eligible and tenured faculty have an annual service period of nine months. University of Washington faculty members engage in research, teaching, and service. Duties include conducting high-quality scholarly research in finance or a related field, and effectively teaching courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
The base salary range for these positions will be between $29,000 and $45,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Other compensation associated with this position may include a moving allowance, summer research funding, endowments (tenured) and administrative supplements.
