Manage finished goods' (mix of manufactured and purchased) transfer orders and inventory at internal (Distribution Centers and manufacturing facilities) and external (agent) stocking locations
Optimize finished goods’ inventory levels and availability to effectively service customer demand while minimizing transportation costs; communicate availability and other supply info to internal stakeholders
Track, report, and analyze performance results to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); investigate root cause and action shortfalls
Identify and manage excess & obsolete product
Work cross functionally to achieve organizational results and drive continuous improvement in processes and tools
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or other relevant field; or 4-8 years' relevant working experience, as an equivalency
Established ability to work with, and create Excel/Database files (i.e. formulas, pivot tables and troubleshooting); experience manipulating SQL queries and using ERP and/or MRP systems, preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Capacity to perform at a high level in a fast-paced working environment
Ability to work under minimal supervision, plan workload, and establish priorities
Ability to communicate effectively and comfortably with all levels of the organization, both written and verbal
Must possess a positive attitude, be a team player, and have a strong work ethic
Within 3 months, you’ll:
Complete your Atkore immersion program: includes learning our culture, values, strategic initiatives, and systems. You will also meet with team members and internal stakeholders with the goal of learning and building connections.
Understand your role within the organization, processes and tools
Use your inquisitive mind to learn the “whys” associated with current practices
Spend time training with SMEs, as well as self-directed learning
Within 6 months, you’ll:
Deepen understanding of processes and tools
Work towards established performance and development goals
Identify opportunities for improvement
Within 12 months, you’ll:
Fully own your processes and tools
Troubleshoot issues and work towards effective and efficient resolution; fully support stakeholders as needed
