Primary Responsibilities as a Clinical Therapist:

Carries caseload of patients under the supervision of the Clinical Director

Evaluates, diagnoses and treats a wide range of psychosocial problems in order to assist patients and their families in the resolution of personal and environmental problems attributable to psychiatric issues which prevent patient from achieving their highest level of psychosocial functioning.

Perform a comprehensive psychosocial assessment of assigned patients.

Provide individual, group, and family mental health and/or substance abuse therapy.

Complete record keeping in accordance with Health Information Services and other contractual requirements.

Maintain cooperative relationships with other employees, patients and the public.

Collaborate with other providers, agencies, and individuals in the consumers' network of care.

Make assessments and provide appropriate crisis interventions and risk management as needed.

Maintain licensure by completing required CEUs.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

The Clinical Therapist must be organized, able to function in a calm manner during crisis situations and have demonstrated sound clinical judgment.

3- five years’ experience in a healthcare is preferred.

Master’s degree and Independent licensure required (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT and LCDP).
