Butler Hospital researchers are seeking to hire a research therapist for federally funded research projects related to preventing suicide and improving treatment adherence for teens and adult following a care transition (psychiatric hospitalization or emergency department visit).
Responsibilities include delivering research interventions, assessing suicide risk, screening electronic medical records, writing clinical notes, utilizing electronic databases, preparing clinical reports, and providing outreach to patients with psychiatric disorders. Additional duties include working with a multidisciplinary team conducting research in a psychiatric hospital setting.
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field required.
Experience with providing evidence-based interventions and/or working with psychiatric patients desirable. Bilingual skills (Spanish speaking) desirable.
Schedule: To Be Discussed at time of Hire - Part Time 20 hrs. Monday-Friday
