Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking dedicated and compassionate School Social Workers (PEL) to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students in Illinois school districts. As a School Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students by providing counseling, intervention services, and collaborating with educators, families, and community resources.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, as well as to support academic success.
Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create and implement strategies for supporting students' social and emotional development within the school environment.
Advocate for students' rights and access to resources, including mental health services, housing assistance, and other community support.
Develop and maintain relationships with parents/guardians and community organizations to facilitate comprehensive support for students and families.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress, coordinate services, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions, progress notes, and service delivery.

Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement.
Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or community settings, with a focus on addressing social and emotional needs.
Knowledge of counseling theories and evidence-based practices for supporting students' mental health and well-being.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Commitment to cultural competence, equity, and social justice in working with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
