Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking dedicated and compassionate School Social Workers (PEL) to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students in Illinois school districts. As a School Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students by providing counseling, intervention services, and collaborating with educators, families, and community resources.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, as well as to support academic success.
• Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create and implement strategies for supporting students' social and emotional development within the school environment.
• Advocate for students' rights and access to resources, including mental health services, housing assistance, and other community support.
• Develop and maintain relationships with parents/guardians and community organizations to facilitate comprehensive support for students and families.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress, coordinate services, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions, progress notes, and service delivery.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or community settings, with a focus on addressing social and emotional needs.
• Knowledge of counseling theories and evidence-based practices for supporting students' mental health and well-being.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to cultural competence, equity, and social justice in working with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
