PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships as the technical liaison for our business to business sales of thermoplastic and metal distribution products, custom fabrication, machining, and turn-key systems targeting OEM’s. This position will serve as the customer’s single point of contact; coordinates marketing programs, economic analysis, rate comparisons, and cost of operations evaluations for key accounts.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Builds relationships with key decision makers and acts as liaison and single point contact with major commercial and industrial accounts.
• Identify and develops new business opportunities in and extend initiatives with the company.
• Facilitate programs to gather requirements and features from customers to augment sales, product management, support, and business and technology partnerships as needed.
• Responsible for managing and growing existing customer accounts through using effective methodologies to develop exceptional partnerships with primary contacts.
• Communicate in a professional and effective manner with all customers and potential customers through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, and person-to-person opportunities.
• Partner with internal functions including customer service, supply chain, and other departments to assure quality, service, price and delivery.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations, displays and demonstration of products using samples, vendors, websites, etc.
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of company initiatives and industry trends.
• Adhere to and promote all company standards and policies.
• Perform special projects as assigned by management.

• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose operations problems/issues.
• Comprehension of the company’s products and processes.
• Experience with ERP/materials management processes and systems.
• Ability for up to 25% travel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:
High School diploma or GED.
5+ years of sales experience in a manufacturing environment.

Desired:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.

Knowledge of plastics industry.
