Job Description

AECOM is looking for a Project Engineer with experience with Water/Wastewater Systems to join our Rocky Hill, Connecticut Team.

The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performs functions with water and wastewater systems such as water distribution, piping, pumping or storage facilities, wastewater collection, or treatment processes.
  • Preparation of studies or reports, preparation of design and contract documents, oversight and inspection of construction projects.
  • Perform periodic field work such as sample collection, inspection and measurement of existing water systems, construction reviews and preparation of reporting to document activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering and 4+ years of experience.
  • 3 years of AutoCAD experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience with water/wastewater systems.
  • PE License or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with AutoCAD 3D or programs such as HydroCAD, StormCAD, ArcGIS, WaterCAD.

  • Offered rate of compensation (Connecticut locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $80,756.40 - $115,077.87.
