SUMMARY: The Sales Designer is responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers while achieving monthly sales goals and building strong customer relationships within an assigned territory and/or list of named companies/households (commercial/residential).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieving revenue goals
Set goals, strategy and execution action plan to achieve quota, consistently year over year
Sell Mobile Illumination’s Value Proposition to build, maintain and progress a strong pipeline and to obtain revenue goals
Responsible for account collection to keep customers AR current
Developing on going customer relationships - commercial
Establish organizational maps of clients
Identify key stakeholders
Discover opportunities
Educate customers about our capabilities
Visit customers in person on regular call schedule
Problem solve and be resourceful to the customers to provide exceptional experience
Identifying and calling on potential new customers - commercial
Research and develop prospects into customers
Be creative and show tenacity with developing new business leveraging all key engagement tactics (LinkedIn, phone, email, text)
Show proactive participation in selected networking groups/associations
Develop partnerships with partners/influencers
Developing on going customer relationships - residential
Discover opportunities for new services/products
Educate customers about our capabilities
Visit customers in person once per year
Be resourceful to the customers to provide exceptional experience
Identifying and calling on potential new customers - residential
Develop prospects into customers via job walks
Be responsive to new leads
Delivering value propositions that meet the customer’s need
Ask open ended questions, listen and understand customer needs
Combine learnings from customers with our value proposition to drive existing customers loyalty and sales and to acquire new ones
Submit proposal’s timely
Ensure all contractual documentation is signed
Submit Install Sheet within 48 hours of contract signature
Attend sales meetings and training as required
Maintaining accurate and updated customer data, sales activity and forecast in the CRM
Update prospecting activity (pipeline, calls, KPIs,….) in CRM weekly
Update customer activity (pipeline, calls, KPIs,….) in CRM weekly
Update account contact information on a regular basis
Provide monthly forecasting
Representing our company internally and externally
Maintain presence at industry events to maximize sales opportunities and promote company representation and relevance
Maintain a professional appearance and provides a positive company image
Perform work in a manner consistent with all company policies and safety rules
Perform other related duties as assigned by management
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education is preferred
5+ years of successful experience in business to business and business sales as a direct contributor carrying an individual quota
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned monthly goals
Attentive to forecasting and business reporting responsibilities
