Responsibilities
Assists visitors, patients, vendors or employees during hospital operating/visitor hours in accordance with Prime established policies and procedures. Create positive first impression for each individual who enters the hospital and maintain the safety of our patients, community and staff. Greet visitors, patients, vendors or employees and follow the outlined Prime established policies and procedures including utilizing Prime provided script for interactions. Notifies visitor in the event responses to script do not meet established guidelines for access to the facility that may not be able to admit inside the hospital offering to redirect to the emergency department for further evaluation. Assist in assuring no children under 16 will be permitted in the ICU (outside Emergency Department). Performs other duties as assigned or required, but not limited to visitor and patient wayfinding, participation in staff engagement activities, and patient experience-related projects.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 2. Previous experience in office or receptionist.4. Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.5. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines.6. Analytical and problem-solving skills.7. Customer Services experience preferred.
Desert Valley Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
