Job Title: Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Marietta, Georgia

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Marietta, Georgia. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you will provide speech and language services to students ranging from elementary to high school age. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, voice, and language disorders to enhance student communication skills and academic success.

Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose students with a variety of speech-related disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each student’s specific needs.
Provide targeted therapy to help improve students' speech clarity, sound production, and verbal and nonverbal communication.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom setting.
Maintain thorough and confidential records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for speech therapy goals and student progress.
Engage in continuous education to remain knowledgeable about the latest research and effective therapy techniques in the field of speech-language pathology.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
Valid Georgia state license in Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Experience working with students within a school setting is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
