Job Title: Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Marietta, Georgia. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you will provide speech and language services to students ranging from elementary to high school age. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, voice, and language disorders to enhance student communication skills and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with a variety of speech-related disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each student’s specific needs.
- Provide targeted therapy to help improve students' speech clarity, sound production, and verbal and nonverbal communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom setting.
- Maintain thorough and confidential records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for speech therapy goals and student progress.
- Engage in continuous education to remain knowledgeable about the latest research and effective therapy techniques in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Valid Georgia state license in Speech Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with students within a school setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
