Job Id:   ** GET-007 Job Title:   Sales Geologist Location:  Houston, Texas Resource Manager:  Gilbert Forcade Description: Sales Geologist Our Client is based in the UK with additional offices in Houston, Tx and Denver Colorado. They are a leading independent oil, gas, and minerals exploration consultancy. We at The Morrow Group are looking to fill the following position as a Direct Hire Position for their Houston, TX office. Sales Geologist: The role will focus on marketing and selling geological STUDIES and SERVICES, assessing client needs and generating proposals/tenders. The Ideal candidate will: • Have significant proven sales experience in the Oil Exploration Industry • Develop new business opportunities • Demonstrate a knowledge of Petroleum geology • Undertake significant travel within North America afield This position will require: • Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team • Be able to promote , market and sell geological ideas, studies and services to technical and non-technical audiences • Awareness of, and some use of ArcGIS software • Have strong numeracy and IT skills • Possess excellent communication skills and be fluent in English, both in writing and orally This position offers a competitive salary plus bonus and benefits that are commensurate with industry standards and individuals experience.
