The Licensed Clinician/Social Worker for Youth will work directly with foster care youth in developing skills to manage and support their success, to provide placement stability, to provide a safe predictable environment for youth to develop age-appropriate skills, and to prepare youth to achieve success in the community and at home. This position does offer a sign on bonus of $5,000 Sign On Bonus, payable in 2 parts.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides weekly individual therapy to program youth using the TFCO treatment model. This includes introducing new behavioral, coping, and social skills and practicing these in sessions using strategic positive reinforcement and coaching interventions.
• Participates in the development of individual treatment plans for program youth.
• Establishes medical necessity for Core and CFTSS services.
• Provides skill building services to meet Core requirements.
• Implements clinical treatment plans by facilitating trauma-informed individual and/or family counseling sessions, and therapeutic groups with all youth and/or families as required by agency policies, protocols and procedures.
• Provides CFTSS services according to treatment needs.
• Attends weekly clinical team meetings.
• Provides record keeping and documentation for all clinical activities (case documentation).

Job Requirements

• Requires a NYS Licensure, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT
• Requires two years of post-licensure experience in child welfare or related field.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with variable hours including day, evening, weekend, holiday and subject to call hours. 
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.  Travel is required. Ability to coordinate and plan travel for visits and appointments in efficient manner. 
• Ability to work with economically and culturally diverse population.
• Skills: Organizational and prioritization skills including the ability to complete reports and paperwork in a timely manner 

Salary & Schedule

• Licensed Clinician + 2-year post licensure experience = $72,500  + Sign on bonus of $5,000
• Licensed Clinician + 5-year post licensure experience = $76,000 + Sign on bonus of $5,000
• Monday through Friday, 10am - 6pm.
