Job Description
- Provide initial diagnostic assessment and psychosocial evaluation for new clients.
- Provide individual psychotherapy services.
- Meet productivity requirements set by the agency: 5.00 hours, daily average
- Serve as a therapist consultant to Mental Health Rehabilitation Services (MHRS) and case managers.
- Enter session notes within established agency medical record system and documentation timelines.
- Provide crisis intervention services for assigned clients as needed.
- Consult with psychiatrist and other behavioral health providers as needed.
- Participate in staff development activities and in quality of care activities as necessary.
- Provide in-person therapy 4 days per week and virtual 1 day per week.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have an LICSW, LPC, LGSW, LMFT, or LGPC license in good standing with the District of Columbia.
- Must have a National Provider Identification Number (NPI).
- Knowledge of CBT and Trauma Informed Framework experience, preferred.
- Experience with substance use disorders and trauma-related disorders, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
