The Senior Visualization Supervisor is a critical role in helping us deliver our vision and is responsible for contributing towards what the final project is going to look like, in a timely manner, through their area of craft.
The role requires a charismatic, detail-oriented, highly creative and/or technical leader who has a desire to continuously improve. The Senior Visualization Supervisor will help set the standard of the department, delivering their task to the exacting standards of the show.
Candidates should have experience as a Visualization Supervisor on multiple features and will need to provide a list of directors with whom they have collaborated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director, VFX Supervisor and/or other creative leads on the film or series to design and deliver effective Previs/Postvis of key sequences.
- Take responsibility to meet the pressures and demands of a production schedule, working with the Production team to deliver on time and on budget.
- Work closely with the Production team to ensure an accurate production schedule is set up and maintained.
- Define and interpret specific instructions from the client.
- Work with pipeline and engineering teams to develop and improve the pipeline and tools.
- Communicate clearly and confidently across different teams, from client to editorial, to production, and build good relationships with them.
- Help develop talent and foster professional growth among crew
- During review sessions, discuss changes with the client and offer creative input and technical solutions to enhance continuity and consistency of the sequence.
The pay range for this full-time staff position is: $170,000 - $185,000 USD per year, which is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and pursuant to the California Pay Transparency Law.
