LinQuest is seeking a GPS Software Test Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

The GPS SE&I Team provides specialized engineering, analysis, operations support, and subject matter expertise to the PEO for SATCOM and PNT and the GPS Community.

Team members provide high level GPS system test support. The primary role of the PNT SE&I Test Team is to verify and validate GPS system performance across all major components of the GPS System of Systems. This includes verification of interfaces between GPS Ground Control, Space Vehicles, and GPS Receivers. Test is conducted both formally and informally collect data that the team analyzes to provide engineering recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting test planning and data analysis activities for the purposes of formal requirements verification and/or risk reduction
  • Integrating activities over the lifecycle of systems within GPS including pre-contractual, development and production, as well as operations and sustainment
  • Analyzing data to make decisions on system performance in order to provide recommendations to government customers
  • Collaborating with prime contractors, other support contractors, government civilians, and members of the U.S. Space Force

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Technical bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ of test experience
  • Extremely motivated with the ability to prioritize and work multiple tasks
  • Comfortable in small (~3-4 people) and large (~15-20 people) team environments
  • Experience writing and delivering technical engineering content
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster professional relationships
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required for the position

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • Government or GPS experience highly desirable
  • Coding experience in object oriented programming
  • Active Secret Clearance
