Fraser is seeking a Medical Eligibility & Prior Authorizations Coordinator to support our Revenue Cycle team with data entry, verifying insurance eligibility and obtaining prior authorization for services. People who are successful in this position will have a high attention to detail, be flexible, and are able to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Being a positive team player is a must.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform eligibility and benefit coverage checks for client services and enter benefit coverage information in the Electronic Health Records.
- Analyze reports, track, and obtain the necessary authorizations for all client services.
- Proactively and professionally communicate with providers and third party payers to obtain necessary documentation and information.
- Accurately record status of prior authorization requests in the expected timeframe and with required documentation.
- Respond to family’s insurance coverage and prior authorization questions and communicate authorization denials or delays when needed.
- Perform data entry into our electronic health record.

Location and Schedule:
- Bloomington, Minnesota / Hybrid
- Monday through Friday, during standard business hours
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required. BA/BS/AAS in related field such as medical billing or health information preferred.
- Experience working with medical insurance and/or prior authorizations is preferred.
- Computer proficiency using Outlook, Word and Excel.
