The Project Accountant / Project Controller will support multiple Frontier projects and functions acting as a bridge between technical teams, the finance team and clients. Successful candidates will have a passion for business and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment through lowering energy consumption. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist technical staff with budgeting new projects and ensure rates, classifications, and scope are in alignment with company policies and systems
- Set up new clients and projects in Frontier systems and recommend credit levels
- Create and maintain project files, budgets, and other information in Frontier systems
- Assist Program staff with budget management and other tasks
- Perform billing activities and assist with progress reporting for projects under group
- Perform collections on outstanding Accounts Receivable
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a relevant field (billing analyst, business manager, bookkeeper)
- Basic understanding of the business environment (business law, information technology, accounting, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with willingness to use video chat, messenger, phone, email and other methods to most effectively engage others
- Strong skillset with MS Excel®, MS Word®, MS PowerPoint®, MS Outlook®, and Windows® operating systems
Required Skills / Experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel® (lookup formulas, macros, VBA, etc.)
Preferred skills/experience:
- Experience working with Project oriented organizations
- Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint
