SUMMARY:
The Royal Learning Academy supervisor will work in collaboration with the Summer and Extended Learning Coordinator to build and implement K-5 Targeted Services programming with the goals of Vision 2031 at the forefront, with anti-racist practices and whole child development practices to serve all scholars. The RLA supervisor will be working closely with the Summer and Extended Learning Coordinator to ensure the needs of staff, scholars, and families are put first.
The RLA supervisor manages the day-to-day operations and serves as the supervisor for Royal Learning Academy. The supervisor should be capable of leading a diverse staff of certified and uncertified professionals. The mission of Royal Learning Academy is to serve scholars in grades K-5 to provide an intervention and prevention program to assist students in gaining skills to enhance their school year success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serve in a supervisory capacity for the teachers and summer staff, reporting to the Summer and extended Learning Coordinator.
- Work in conjunction with program leadership to recruit, hire, train and manage staff.
- Manage and maintain fiscal responsibility for program budget including staff supplies and compensation.
- Work with site staff to plan and implement all program components with fidelity.
- Conduct debriefs as needed to provide technical support and feedback for staff in an effort to maintain site cohesion.
- Manage and oversee referral coordination and family registration process and communication.
- Maintain regular communication and timely correspondence with emails and requests with staff and families.
- Collaborate with Summer stakeholders including Hopkins Transportation, Building and Grounds and Student Nutrition
- Provide student and family de-escalation support.
- Attend monthly summer learning meetings in the planning process.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years or more work experience with students, families, and education environments
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Education leadership experience preferred.
- Possess strong leadership and management skills to lead and motivate.
- Ability to translate a strategic plan into direct implementation.
- Ability to motivate others, pay attention to detail, and lead long-term planning.
- Able to give and receive feedback.
- Solid commitment to the success and well-being of all scholars.
- Exhibit positive behavior and attitude, modeling a mature and professional demeanor.
- Ability to attend all meetings scheduled with summer and extended learning coordinator.
- Understands the role systemic racism has played in education and is committed to taking an anti-racist approach in all work functions.

- $32.07 – 38.98 per hour, depending on experience
- Position will begin with variable hours per week, then move to 35 hours per week in March.
