Derm LPN Specialist requirements are:
Essential Functions:
Summons and prepares patient for office visit. Assists Physician or PA with medical office procedures. Administers medications, including injections, documents meds given or prescribed by ordering provider. Administers dermatology and pathology biopsy procedures. Assumes responsibility of maintaining current certification in CPR. Accepts responsibility for reading and referencing new policy & procedures and newsletters. Adheres to nursing policy and procedure when documenting in patient’s record. Attends support staff and department meetings to keep informed of employee issues and concerns as well as organizational updates. Maintains confidentiality of clinic materials. Provides and reinforces patient instruction and education as indicated.
Required Education and Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing and possesses an active Florida State licensure. ACLS certified.
Preferred Education and Experience: Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse; 1 Year experience in Dermatology or Mohs preferred. CPR certification within 3 months of employment.
DERMATOLOGY TECHNICIAN Requirements are:
Summary/Objective: Dermatology technician performs a variety of clinical and/or administrative tasks to help a dermatologist run their office.

Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program. Medical Assistant Certification by the American Association of Medical Assistant (AAMA) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) is required.
Preferred Education and Experience: Experience or training in a medical health care facility as a Medical Assistant.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications: 1 Year experience in Dermatology or Mohs preferred. Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment
