M&S Engineering, LLC is seeking a qualified and innovative Civil Project Engineer (P.E.) at our New Braunfels, Texas location with experience in the design of public works projects (roadway, drainage, water distribution, wastewater collection, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Participate in the planning, design and construction administration of municipal infrastructure facilities/projects
Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections, and assist with data collection, compilation, and assessment for utility infrastructure projects
Prepare reports
Develop design plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Analyze processes based on field investigations, drawings, and specifications, and perform calculations
Review and prepare federal, state, and local permit applications
Perform construction observation and field engineering services
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
3-5 years' experience preferably in a consulting engineering environment in municipal infrastructure facilities/projects.
P.E. license in the State of Texas is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation
Experience working with Municipal clients
Progressive experience in planning, design, permitting and construction administration of infrastructure improvements
Physically able to perform work in the field
Construction observation experience is a plus
Detail-oriented team player possessing strong planning and organizational skills
Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and use of standard engineering software
Experience with WaterCAD, KYPipe, or similar water distribution modeling software is preferred
