Job Description
You will work closely with senior leaders in Experian North America to set and achieve long-term strategic objectives of the business. You will leverage internal and external data and resources to build models, assess strategic options, and provide superior decision support.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Experian North America CEO and CFO, Strategy function, and business unit leadership teams on the annual strategic planning process
Develop robust multi-year financial models for Experian North America portfolio of businesses to support strategic decision making. Partner closely with Corporate FP&A and business unit finance teams to deliver financial scenarios and feed into the annual budgeting process
Take the lead on regional or global strategic projects, leveraging consultants or internal teams across the globe. Collaborate with Experian’s Corporate Development team to stay abreast of potential M&A activity and ongoing pipeline of M&A targets
Partner closely with Experian’s Director of Economics to refresh quarterly macroeconomic forecasts and collaborate with business units on reflecting macro updates in forecasting and budgeting
Prepare and deliver executive presentations, including quarterly updates to Experian PLC CEO and CFO. Act as an advisor to the executive team and business units by bringing together insights from Experian data, market data, and competitive intelligence
Develop deep expertise and framework for ongoing competitive analysis. Build on established practices of comparing Experian business results to competitors in the market. Expand the aperture on competitors, and continuously refresh with market data.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related field. MBA preferred
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in finance, corporate strategy or consulting
Investment banking, equity research, or relevant consulting experience preferred
Role model a growth mindset and promote continuous improvement / process efficiency
Expert communicator across different audiences, with significant prior exposure to senior executives
A proven track record of partnering with businesses to deliver significant financial outcomes
