Conveniently located in Torrance, California, the Endoscopy Center of the South Bay was founded in 1991. Specializing in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy of the gastrointestinal tract, the Center continues to provide quality care to the entire South Bay community and beyond. The Center has been Medicare certified since 1991 and accredited by AAAHC, Association for Ambulatory Health Care, since 2008.All physicians are Board Certified Gastroenterologists, with extensive experience in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Professional, safe and compassionate care, rendered at our newly renovated, state of the art facility make for a very pleasant patient experience. We strive to provide excellent services daily, in keeping with the Mission Statement of the Endoscopy Center of the South Bay.
We are currently searching for a Full Time Receptionist to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Key responsibilities include welcoming patients and visitors, collecting patient identification cards and insurance information, updating patient accounts, collecting copayments and deductibles, recording payments in the billing system other administrative duties; must have ability to multi-task.
You must possess a high school diploma or GED, one year of experience (preferably in an Ambulatory Surgery Center), experience in Endoscopy ASC, ability to speak and understand the English language, Bilingual a plus, strong ethical and moral character references, and excellent telephone and basic computer skills.
