The Human Resource Generalist will provide support to operations and employees regarding Human Resource concerns in the Carlisle region under the direction of the Human Resources Director.
Timekeeping a. Assist with review of timecards daily after manager review to ensure accurate timekeeping for payroll purposes. b. Provide support to managers to resolve timekeeping issues with Payroll Specialist. c. Provide scheduled and ad hoc reports as needed. d. Provide support to employees and managers regarding their access in the timekeeping system. e. Assist with attendance tracking. f. Assist with leave of absence tracking.
HRIS a. Assist with maintaining the integrity of the data in the HRIS system. b. Observe/review new hires, employee changes, terminations, wage changes, etc., in the HRIS system. c. Provide training to employees and managers regarding their access in the HRIS system.
Payroll
a. Sort and distribute payroll checks on the pay date. b. Follow up with Payroll Specialist to provide support to employees and managers with questions regarding payroll within 8 hours.
Recruiting a. Maintain all hourly applicant files ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. b. Support employees and managers with the use of Recruiting module in UltiPro. c. Oversee full life cycle hourly recruiting process for region. d. Maintain Open Positions Report for region e. Partner with HR to implement processes to support companywide recruiting initiatives. f. Organize and facilitate initial forklift assessment. g. Assist with the conversion of temporary agency employees to company hires. h. Prescreen candidates for positions in region. Schedule in person interviews with managers.
Benefit Administration a. Assist employees with benefit enrollment process, i.e. new hire, family status change, etc. b. Respond to all benefit questions/inquires within 24 hours and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
OnBoarding a. Maintain Onboarding tasks in UltiPro for region b. Prepare New Hire Orientation Packets. c. Implement Week One Training d. Present New Employee Orientation to new hires on Day 1 of employment e. Check-in with new hires at 24 hours, at the two week mark, at the end of 30 days, at the end of 60 days, and at the end of 90 days. f. Manage 45 and 90 day review process. g. Complete eVerify, maintain I-9s onsite and forward originals and eVerify certificate to Corporate within 72 hours of start. h. Set up employee files.
HR Administration a. Maintain all hourly employee files in compliance with state and federal regulations. b. Assist with coordinating company picnics, parties and functions c. Provide input on the development of HR Standard Operating Procedures d. Support employees and managers regarding human resource policies and programs. e. Establish and maintain professional working relationships with applicants, visitor, callers and business professionals. f. Assist with employee counseling and documentation processes. g. Assist with leave of absence administration.
Safety and Workers Compensation a. Notify HR Manager of injury immediately so that processes and documentation of completed timely and properly. b. Assist with preparation of OSHA and WC documentation.
