Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Pediatric Anesthesiology with a focus on cardiothoracic anesthesiology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. ABA certification with subspeciality certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology and Pennsylvania licensure are required. Rank will be commensurate with experience. 

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching both in our formal didactic lecture program as well as in the informal teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through the cardiothoracic operating rooms and procedural areas. Attendance and participation in lectures, presentations, and conferences within the division as well as multidisciplinary conferences is expected.

Clinical responsibilities may include direct patient care and medical direction in the cardiothoracic operating rooms and procedural area. Primary practice is located at the Philadelphia campus of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
