Position Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in all phases of Functional Testing. Qualifying activities include such items as: - analyzing and interpreting business requirement documents (BRDs) and use cases in unified modeling language (UML) for testability and inconsistencies - participation in Joint Application Development sessions, seeking clarification from business analysts as needed - documenting and implementing application test plans - identifying test cases - writing and executing test scripts - identifying and analyzing application problems and the communication of such to development team.
  • Experience with HP/Microfocus Application Lifecycle Management and/or its prior versions:  Quality Center, Test Director.
  • Experience with HP Quick Test Professional (QTP) and HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT) for developing and maintaining automated scripts used to do regression testing 
  • Experience planning, designing, developing and executing test strategies based on software specifications for a web-based application in a large, complex and diverse Human Services (Federal, State or local government) delivery system. 
  • Experience as a test lead, providing direction and training to other members of the project team 
  • 2+ years experience using SQL, and SOAP UI, with Exposure to Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or HP Quality Center, to identify, document, track and communicate problems to technical staff. 
  • Experience with HP LoadRunner (or Performance Center) used for load and performance testing.
