Title: Freelance Medical Engagement Specialist

Location: Rockville, MD / Remote

Department/Discipline: Account Services

Responsibilities:

• Research and create a list of infectious disease physicians, primary care with HIV specialty physicians, and nephrologists with HIV specialty physicians within a certain mile radius of an infusion center
• Conduct phone calls and/or compose emails to the listed physicians to inform and educate them about the trial
• Provide educational materials to listed physicians about the drug and the clinical trial via email, fax and/or video meeting
• Keep detailed documentation of all communications with listed physicians along with attempts and outcomes
• Conduct follow-up phone calls and/or emails with listed physicians who are interested in referring patients to study on a monthly basis
• Respond to and keep track of website inquires by connecting interested parties with their local infusion center

Experience:

• Should have approximately 3 years of experience directly supporting clinical trials.
• Should have experience in the HIV area
• Knowledge of CABENUVA is a plus
• Must be able to build rapport with physicians and physicians’ staff
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• High level organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work accordingly
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
