Qualifications:

  • Airframe & Power Plant (A & P) License preferred, but not required.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials, and a urinary pre-employment test for drugs as per the DOT regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accept or reject work accomplished for all items generated on the inspection forms.
  • Responsible for the surveillance of all work in progress.
  • Assures that all work inspected is in accordance with current FAA approved technical data.
  • Adheres to quality inspection standards in accordance with the company’s Repair Station Manual/Quality Control Manual (RSM/QCM).
  • Service, repair, troubleshoot, and overhaul aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness.
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, systems, and functional components, assemble, and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, structural components, and accessories using hand tools and power tools.
  • Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges and test equipment, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brakes, welding equipment, rivet guns, and drills.
  • Assure that all routine, non-routine, and customer request work cards are correctly completed and properly signed off.
  • Verify calibrated tooling used is current.
