Poway Surgery Center is an outpatient surgery center providing the highest quality care for patients and we’re hiring!

We are currently searching for a Full Time Administrative Assistant to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include welcoming patients and visitors, collecting patient identification cards and insurance information, updating patient accounts, collecting copayments and deductibles, recording payments in the billing system, answering phones, and a wide range of other administrative duties and executive support-related tasks; must be able to multi-task and work independently, as well as confidentially, with little or no supervision.

You must possess a HS school diploma/GED, one year of experience (preferable in an Ambulatory Surgery Center / Orthopedics), have had training/courses in business office activities, have third-party-payer billing experience, excellent telephone and basic computer skills, and strong ethical and moral character references.
