The purpose of this position is to provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service, to make and serve coffee drinks made to specific recipes and requests.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:
Provide excellent customer service by greeting every guest that comes in
Operating the Point of Sale (POS)/register properly
Handling different methods of payment
Learning and implementing all drink recipes
Actively completing all side tasks/necessary cleaning tasks to keep the shop clean and sanitary at all times
Stocking/restocking items in the shop
Maintain organized and professional appearance in all areas at all times
Work with constituents of Pioneer and the seminary including faculty, staff, students, alumni and guests on a daily basis. Must be professional and accommodating within the established guidelines. This will require self-confidence, respect and knowledge while working with customers
Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION:
The person in this position should have a high school diploma.
EXPERIENCE:
The person in this position should have retail experience and knowledge of various coffee brewing techniques.
