JOB TYPE: Part-time
JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service, to make and serve coffee drinks made to specific recipes and requests.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting every guest that comes in
- Operating the Point of Sale (POS)/register properly
- Handling different methods of payment
- Learning and implementing all drink recipes
- Actively completing all side tasks/necessary cleaning tasks to keep the shop clean and sanitary at all times
- Stocking/restocking items in the shop
- Maintain organized and professional appearance in all areas at all times
- Work with constituents of Pioneer and the seminary including faculty, staff, students, alumni and guests on a daily basis. Must be professional and accommodating within the established guidelines. This will require self-confidence, respect and knowledge while working with customers
Performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION:
The person in this position should have a high school diploma.
EXPERIENCE:
The person in this position should have retail experience and knowledge of various coffee brewing techniques.
