Glen Raven Material Solutions is recruiting for a Supply Chain Planner. This role will be given a diverse array of responsibilities, with the overall goal of driving a more efficient and effective supply chain.

 ***The team utilizes a hybrid work schedule, with 3 days each week in the office, and 2 days working remotely***

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with sales and manufacturing teams to align supply with demand
• Create and manage supply plans to balance inventory levels and service targets for specific product lines
• Support new product launches and phase-outs with appropriate supply planning
• Design and improve methods to gather, manage, and display supply chain data
• Analyze the gathered data and interpret it in ways that will allow for the improvement of supply chain methods and processes
• Work with supply chain team to plan and implement supply chain optimization projects
• Track KPIs and report on supply chain performance and forecast error
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data and market trends
• Analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory
• Participate in regular meetings to align demand forecasts with business objectives
• Analyze existing processes and systems to identify areas of complexity and inefficiency

Education and Experience:

• 4-year degree in supply chain management, operations management, textile management, or related field (required)
• Experience with supply chain planning and/or demand planning is preferred but not required
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excited to learn; ample natural curiosity
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, working knowledge of relational databases
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (must be able to present ideas to others)
• Power BI experience is preferred but not required
