Job Description:

  • Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives. Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met. Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition. Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues. Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs. Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules. Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements. Works under general direction.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

PROJECT/SKILLS

  • • Describe the project they will be working on: One of the positions is for the 767 fuselage project ME team. Employee will be working projects related to improving the build plan for 767 fuselage structures, such as: conducting RCCAs, authoring work instructions, shop floor observations and documentation, etc.
  • • Size of the Team: ~15
  • • Does the statement of work have any limitations on physical attributes? (Heavy lifting, long hours on feet, confined spaces, harnesses that have certain weight limits, etc.) Employee will be required to work on the manufacturing floor about 40-60% of the time. This will not require any heavy lifting or confined spaces but could require being on their feet for a full 8 hour shift.
  • • Type of background you are looking for (education, # yrs experience, etc.): Looking for prior Client ME experience, preferably in fuselage structures. Familiarity with Client systems: PDM, CMES, SAT, etc. Good project management and communication skills
  • • Software skills required: Must be able to use Microsoft office
  • • Any certifications required: no

  • • What skill sets have you found work well for this role? Client specific production engineering, manufacturing, or quality experience. Understanding airplane structures and build processes. Understanding RCCA methods

Education / Experience:
